Tim Evans (London, United Kingdom)

Tim Evans, formerly with United Kingdom’s Independent Healthcare Association (today called English Community Care Association), has been at the center of health care reform in the United Kingdom for most of his career.

During his time with the Independent Healthcare Association, Evans was one of the chief negotiators to the government of Tony Blair to reform the NHS and begin to privatize aspects of the British health care system to improve the quality, delivery and access of health care services. Today, Evans is a fellow with the Stockholm Network focused on educating decision makers and the public about government-run health care systems around the world, as well as supporting reform to the NHS.
